Markku Nissinen and Veli-Pekka Hentunen discovered 19.2.2007 a fully new supernova that got the tag name of SN2007ae. This object is located in galaxy UGC 10704 and more specified co-ordinates are R.A = 17h01m51s.95 and Decl. = +79°01’54”.6. Supernova is a type 1a and at the moment of photographing it was 17,4 magnitude object.
This is the first time when Taurus Hill Observatory and it active members founds a fully new stellar object. This founding was a result of hard work and this kind of findings really makes the day.
And of course, here is the discovery image of the supernova SN2007ae, photographed in Taurus Hill Observatory.
