Comets 46P/Wirtanen and 8P/Tuttle were observed at Taurus Hill Observatory 4.1.2008. The exposures in the pictures below were 11×90 sec. (Wirtanen) and 15×20 sec. (Tuttle). The field of view for Wirtanen is about 9×7 arc minutes and for the Tuttle 12×8 arc minutes. The weather was very clear, temperature -12 celcius, seeing about 2 and transparency 2. The comet Wirtanen is very low in the southern sky. It rise only about 16 degree abowe the horizon.
