Gregory Laughlin and his wife were guests of honour in the Cygnus 2008 -event. Laughlin is known as one of the exoplanet researchers that collaborates with the amateur astronomers. In the Cygnus 2008, Laughlin gave a lecture about the collaboration between the professional astronomers and amateurs.
Taurus Hill Observatory has made exoplanet light curve measurements few years and reported the results to Dr. Laughlin. Taurus Hill Observatory sends the special thanks to Gregory Laughlin and hopes that the visit to the Finland was a pleasing experience.
