Last night a superbright fireball was seen in the most parts of Finland and even in Estonia. The national astronomical association URSA recieved over 300 observations about the fireball during last night. The fireball that was descripted as bright as the Sun and it was green in color. The green color could indicate burning copper which leads us to think that fireball was caused by some space debris returning to the atmosphere. But that is just a pure speculation.
The fireball was also captured by timelapse camera of THO’s research team member Jari Juutilainen in the city of Tampere in Western Finland.
