KPS-1b and Qatar-1b light curves from the 28.2./1.3.
Exoplanet light curves from the 28.2./1.3. night: KPS-1b and Qatar-1b. The transit of KPS-1b was about an hour later than predicted.
The transit of the Qatar-8b exoplanet on February 26, 2022
The transit of the Qatar-8b exoplanet on February 26, 2022 from 6:18 pm to 11:34 pm. The transit took place three hours earlier than mentioned in the catalogs. This time THO team prepared and almost entire transit was observed. It was still so bright at the begin of the transit that the measurement was impossible […]

Qatar-8b transit was observed in Taurus Hill Observatory on 11./12.2. The start of the transit was not measured, as can be seen from the measurement (below).
Three exoplanet observations from January 25-26, 2022. First Qatar-1b, then KPS-1b and lastly HAT-P-36b
Three exoplanet observations from January 25-26, 2022. First Qatar-1b, then KPS-1b and lastly HAT-P-36b. These transits occurred appropriately in succession, and almost all of the dark time was utilized from 18:00 to 7:00 (Finnish time).
Exoplanet HAT-P-16b transit was observed at Taurus Hill Observatory 3.-4.10.2021
Exoplanet HAT-P-16b transit was observed at Taurus Hill Observatory 3/4. October. The change in the brightness of the parent star caused by the transit was 13.3 mmag and the duration of the transit was 181.3 min. This object has been observed at Taurus Hill Observatory a couple of times before. The device includes a Celestron […]
HAT-P-10b / WASP-11b measured at Taurus Hill Observatory 30.8.2021
The first exoplanet light curve transit of this fall’s observation period was measured at Taurus Hill Observatory 30.8.2021. The target was HAT-P-10b / WASP-11b. The transit was exactly as predicted, the duration of the transit was about 160 min and the dimming of the parent star was about 25 mmag.
THO virtual poster in EPSC 2021 on September
EPSC, or Europlanet Science Congress, 2021 will be held online, as in the previous year. Taurus Hill Observatory observations will be presented again this time as part of the ODAA5 session on Friday, September 24th. It is not possible to present a typical scientific poster in a virtual conference, but now, for the second year […]
