Markku Nissinen and Harri Vilokki photographed Messier 42 with the EQ5 SynScan mount and Canon EOS 40D digital camera with the 300mm telephoto lens. The picture below is a combine of 10 sec., 30 sec., 60 sec and 120 sec. exposured picture

Taurus Hill Observatory received a grant from the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation.

Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation granted a 5000 euros grant for the Taurus Hill Observatory for the equipment of the secont observatory building.
