The tail of the comet is very visible and it has a lenght of 7′. The coma of the comet is about 2′ to 3′ large.
The comet C/2007 F1 (LONEOS) was in very low position in the sky while photographing and the weather was not as ideal as it could have been. Also the low temperature and the humidity in the correction lens of the S-C telescope made the observation quite challenging.
