8P/Tuttle observed at Taurus Hill Observatory.

The comet 8P/Tuttle, which is the source comet for Ursids, has been observed at Taurus Hill Obsevatory 18./19.12.2007 21:29 – 22:05 (finnish time). Despite the half moon and the small fog, the comet was also easily observed with binoculars.

The pictures below are taken with the observatorys SBIG ST8-XME CCD -camera and the exposures were 12×60 sec. and 15×60 sec. The field of view in the first picture is 12’x9′ and in the second one 11’x8′.
