Warkauden Kassiopeia (the owner association of the Taurus Hill Observatory) bought land from the Varkaus parish. The new bought land area is 5000m2 and at the moment the kota (or hut) is located in this land. In future the new main building will be built in the same area. The estimated starting time of the new main building project is summer 2010. After the land trade, the size of the Taurus Hill Observatory area is about 1.2 hectares.
