Exoplanets observed at THO on December 2020

The clear weather that lasted for a few nights last week made it possible to make observations at the Härkämäki Observatory. With the observation deck of Celestron, a light curves of seven different exoplanets were observed from 7 to 10 December 2020. The SBIG ST-8XME CCD camera with a photometric R-filter was used for the observations.

This autumn, light curves of a total of 28 exoplanets or exoplanet candidates have been observed in Härkämäki.

The observed transits are in the following order (and in figure below):

1) HAT-P-32b

2) TOI1480.01b (Note: Target not yet confirmed as an exoplanet by the TESS satellite. The star dimming caused by the transit was only 5.6 mmag in this observation, when according to the catalog data it should be 10.9 mmag).

3) KPS-1b (Note! Based on this observation, the object transit occurs about an hour later than recorded in the catalogs.)

4) HAT-P-20b

5) TOI1518.01b (Note: Object not yet found as an exoplanet by a TESS satellite.)

6) TOI1168.01b (Note: An object not yet confirmed as an exoplanet by a TESS satellite. Based on this observation, the object will transit about an hour earlier than recorded in the catalogs.)

7) Qatar-1b
