THO research team started the new observing season by observing the comet C/2009 P1 Garradd 3.8.2011. This comet will be the comet of the Autumn 2001 and it has already the brightness of 7 mag.

Comet C/2009 F6 (Yi-SWAN) was photographed at Taurus Hill Observatory 25./26.4.2009 just after the sunset. The comet was visible in the northern sky before the midnight. The comet was about 9 magnitudes bright at the moment of the photographing, but due the light sky and difficult position it was only visible in the CCD -pictures. […]

Comet C/2008 T2 (Cardinal) is located in high elevation in the Auriga constellation. It has a brightness of 11 magnitudes so it is visible only with the large telescopes.
