Supernova 2007mq had been found by A. Sehgal, L. Cox and Tim Puckett 15.10.2007. We took images of it unfiltered and with R filter 17/18.10.2007 night at THO. We also took images of SN2007kc. Observers: Markku Nissinen and Henri Taino.
We took CCD images of three recently found supernovae at THO 9/19 October 2007 night. Observers: Veli-Pekka Hentunen, Markku Nissinen and Henri Taino. SN2007kc had been photographed also earlier at THO.
We observed three recently found supernovae 25/26.9.2007 night at Taurus Hill Observatory using CCD-camera. Observers: Veli-Pekka Hentunen and Markku Nissinen.
These three supernovae have been found by Lick Observatory Supernova Search in USA. SN2007il was found 10th September, SN2007ir was found 12th September and SN2007is was found 14th September by LOSS. In Perseus constellation is located galaxy NGC1058. Now there is the third brigthest supernova in this year. Supernova’s type is Ib/c so it is th eend of a very hot giant star. We have taken 2x60s unfiltered CCD-images at 20th/21st of August for this combined picture. Observing team: Veli-Pekka Hentunen, Markku Nissinen and Veikko Kauhanen. […]
