Despite the light sky the THO research team managed to take some CCD photographs. Messier 3 Messier 92 The supernova SN 2009bw, discovered at THO, was still visible with the CCD -camera. According the measuremets in had a brightness of 15.33R magnitudes.

Comet C/2009 F6 (Yi-SWAN) was photographed at Taurus Hill Observatory 25./26.4.2009 just after the sunset. The comet was visible in the northern sky before the midnight. The comet was about 9 magnitudes bright at the moment of the photographing, but due the light sky and difficult position it was only visible in the CCD -pictures. […]
