Supernova SN 2008gx has dimmed since the discovery.
Supernova SN 2008gx (type II) that was discovered at THO 4./5.11.2008. Since that the supernova SN 2008gx has dimmed in two weeks very clearly. At the moment of the discovery it had a brightness of 16.8CR magnitudes.

On Wednesday 12.11.2008 the supernovae discoverers Veli-Pekka Hentunen and Markku Nissinen were interviewed to the Finnish main TV news “Kymmenen uutiset” (Ten a clock news). This news broadcast is the main daily news in Finland.

Supernova SN2008gx discovered at Taurus Hill Observatory.
This time the supernova went off in galaxy NGC 3144 and it was first time observed 4/5.11.2008 in THO by Veli-Pekka Hentunen and Markku Nissinen.
