Research team photographed three recently discovered supernovae 24./25.3.2008 at Taurus Hill Observatory. Observers: Veli-Pekka Hentunen and Markku Nissinen. Supernova SN2008bf discovered 18.2.2008 (LOSS). it had a brigthness of 16.8 mag. The type of the supernova is Ia. The afterglow of the gammaray burst GRB080319B was observed 23 – 01 (finnish time) 19./20.03.2008 at Taurus Hill Observatory by the research team members Veli-Pekka Hentunen and Markku Nissinen. Two supernovae was observed at Taurus Hill Observatory 7./8.3.2008. Observer: Veli-Pekka Hentunen. Supernova SN2008at is a Ia type of supernova. It was discovered by the Jack Newton anf Tim Puckett 2.3.2008. Veli-Pekka Hentunen photographed three comets at Taurus Hill Observatory 2./3.3.2008. The weather was quite poor, the mist was present and few times Veli-Pekka has to stop the photographing due the rain. The temperature varied between -6 celcius degree and -10 celsius degree. Supernova SN2008ak photographed at Taurus Hill Observatory.

Supernova SN2008ak was discovered from the galaxy UGC2519 12.2.2008 and it is a type II supernova. At the maximum it had the brightness of 17.0 magnitudes, but at the moment of this photograph it was much dimmer. The object photographed at Taurus Hill observatory 2./3.3.2008.
